This Facilities Manager position is a new role for the client, and will be instrumental in helping them to expand their global footprint alongside business activity.
Reporting into the Global Head of HR you will be responsible for managing all facilities across 3 locations taking into account the needs of the 150 staff working in UK.

Description
Facilities Manager - Investment Banking Group
The role will be varied and will cover:
- Local management and auditing of infrastructure and building services including fire and security systems, water hygiene, utilities, and critical plant
- Monitor health, safety & compliance activities across the three offices in accordance with the Health and Safety policy
- Coordinate and maintain an effective working relationship with the managing agent of each location
- Build upon the relationships with third party service providers that they already have in place
- Liaise internally with stakeholders to understand their requirements from the facilities on an ongoing basis
- Ensure the short-term, medium-term and long-term requirements of the client offices are fully understood and planned for accordingly
- Arrange, supervise and coordinate any future building works
- Maintain seating plans for all offices and coordinate reorganisations with the relevant teams
- Effective communication with Landlord, facilitate solutions for service requirements and issues including lighting, power, air conditioning etc.

- The person must be a self-starter and have the ability to work on own initiative to plan their work effectively so as to ensure that the appropriate services are delivered to the sites under their responsibility
- You will display strong commercial awareness, and the willingness & skill to represent the client in negotiations
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to assimilate requirements from multiple internal stakeholder groups
- Leadership, ownership and a can-do attitude.
Key experiences include:
- Proven Facilities Manager with a track record of managing multi-site estates and negotiating terms with building management
- Experience of running sites, sensitive to business continuity issues and managing office relocation projects from end to end
- Strong track record of securing best value and ensuring high standards from third party suppliers
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop, maintain and enhance collaborative relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts
