Bidvest Noonan names new operations director

Outsourced services provider Bidvest Noonan has appointed Nick O’Connor as its Dublin-based operations director. 

O’Connor, who began his career as a part-time security officer almost 30 years ago, has been with the business for several years and was previously operations manager of its retail and sports division. His first role with Bidvest Noonan was as a security manager at a large shopping centre in Dublin. 

Bidvest Noonan stated that although the early part of his career was focused solely on security, as its service offerings expanded, several clients required one point of contact for overseeing all their operations, so O’Connor took up this role.

Today, with responsibility for several blue-chip clients, he oversees all of the larger retail contracts within the provider’s retail portfolio in Ireland across multiple service offerings and has “helped to shape… Bidvest Noonan's vision”.  

Commenting on his appointment, O’Connor said: “At Bidvest Noonan, our teams are trained in everything from first aid to suicide awareness and dealing with a wide range of challenges. The intention is to support our clients in building lasting relationships with their customers. We have developed a fantastic, motivated and high-achieving team of people supporting tens of millions of shopping experiences annually. ”
