CBRE appoints Andrew Hulme to UK Investment Properties team

Andrew Hulme  [square]Global real estate consultant CBRE has appointed Andrew Hulme as an executive director at its UK Investment Properties team.

Hulme is experienced in the retail sector, having been made an equity partner at Strutt & Parker when he was 32. Most recently he has worked at BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he ran the Retail and Alternatives teams. He began his career at CBRE, focusing on the retail occupier market before specialising in retail warehouse investment and out-of-town retail. 

Hulme brings a deep understanding of the wider retail market and the alternative uses within the sector. He has been active in the market for a number of years, working with a broad range of clients.

In his new role, Hulme will focus on all aspects of retail investment with a focus on delivering experienced advice amid the continuing repositioning of the sector. He will lead the UK retail investment team alongside Phil Cann, with an emphasis on out-of-town retail, as Cann leads on London retail investment. Hulme’s arrival follows the appointment of Nick Sewell as an executive director in the team in 2020.
