JLL appoints Alex Dickinson as rating team director in Manchester

Alex Dickinson [square]JLL has appointed Alex Dickinson as a director to its 40-strong rating team in Manchester. 

Joining from Avison Young, Dickinson has worked as a rating surveyor for over 30 years, with expertise in all commercial, local authority, leisure, hotels and educational properties. He is also membership secretary and committee member of The Rating Surveyors’ Association and a RICS assessor.

He previously led the rating instruction for a large financial institution, which involved overseeing the management of about 2,000 properties and was also the lead director for a major public sector contract for 15 years.

At JLL, Dickinson will join a team based in seven locations across the UK, where he will focus on developing the public sector rating business.

Tim Beattie, lead director of JLL’s UK rating team, said: “Alex is another fantastic addition to our national rating team. He brings both an in-depth knowledge of a wide spectrum of property types as well as a wealth of experience in client management.”

Dickinson added: “I am excited to be joining the JLL Rating team and playing a role in its continued growth into new areas of work.”
