Roythornes Solicitors has boosted its investment in the Midlands with new premises for its Birmingham office and two new senior hires for its real estate team.
Abdul Zaheed, who has over 18 years of experience as a qualified real estate solicitor, has been appointed as a partner, and Charlotte Nutting joins the team as a senior associate after working at two large regional firms in Shropshire.
Roythornes is a top 150 national law practice with offices at Alconbury, Birmingham, Nottingham, Peterborough, and Spalding. It has longstanding relationships with clients, including blue-chip companies, family businesses and private individuals, nationally and internationally.
Bhavesh Amlani, Roythornes’ partner and national head of real estate, said: “We’ve seen the real estate team go from strength to strength and our focus is to continue to build our reputation and brand as we embark on our ambitious expansion plans. We’re incredibly excited to welcome Abdul and Charlotte to the team, with their vast knowledge and experience in the sector.”
Vember Mortlock, managing director, added: “This expansion furthers our commitment to Birmingham as a city, and to its dynamic real estate market.”
Zaheed said: “I was impressed with the firm’s substantial growth and Roythornes’ commitment to its real estate practice and Birmingham. I have always been passionate about providing exceptional service to clients and adding real value to their goals so I’m looking forward to establishing and growing this at Roythornes.”
Nutting said: “With the high quality of work that is on offer at the firm and the calibre of clients it attracts, I hope to expand my technical knowledge and become a leader in the field through a long and successful career.”
Roythornes will relocate from its current office to 1 Newhall Street this spring. This move is the next stage of its strategic expansion.
