Skills for Security appoints commercial director

Warrington-based Skills for Security has made James Gribben its commercial director. 

Gribben is based in the North-West and takes up the post immediately.

He has worked for leading firms within the sector and will now help the company continue its growth trajectory, through widening its fire & security customer base in apprenticeships, commercial training and sponsorship, and expanding into adjacent markets.

David Scott, managing director, said: “I have worked closely with James over the past 18 months in his role at the BSIA and can see the value and professionalism he brings to SfS as we look to strengthen our marketing and sales functions.”  

Gribben will continue to work with the BSIA, which owns 49.9% of Skills for Security.
