UKWSL appoints head of corporate development

UKWSL has appointed Tony McPartland head of its corporate development team.

McPartland joins the waste broker from Cawleys where he spent three years working across its corporate accounts.  Prior to this he was at Suez for four years, working with customers in the London, Essex and Kent regions.

He will be responsible for developing relationships with UKWSL’s blue-chip client base across the retail, FM and property management sectors

Roland Archer, sales director at UKWSL, said: “With the spectre of Brexit looming ever larger, this is an uneasy time for all businesses and here in the waste industry, customers are looking for fixed commercials which lays the risk firmly at our door. 

“Tony’s many years in the sector will therefore prove invaluable as we grapple with the changes in the industry brought about by the new political landscape and the tighter regulations relating to recycling and contamination.”
