Waterman Group appoints new leadership team

Mark Terndrup [square]Waterman Group Plc has appointed a new leadership team for its building services operation.

Mark Terndrup, who has overseen the London region for 14 years, has been appointed as managing director for the south. 

He said: “The role of the building services engineer is constantly evolving, and we have an ever-increasing part to play in tackling the impact that the built environment has on climate change. Together with Jonathan and Steven, we have already set the path for taking the business forward and share a common vision for the exciting journey ahead of us.”

Jonathan Purcell, previously in charge of the Nottingham office covering the Midlands, takes the role as managing director for the north region. 

Purcell added: “Tackling some of the major challenges that we face today around the effects of COVID on building design, wellbeing, digitisation of Engineering, will be at the top of our priorities to ensure we continue to provide our clients with a world-class consultancy service.”

Steven Halmshaw, director of building services in Leeds, joins the leadership team as board director for Waterman Building Services.
