Director of Estates and Campus Services

Lead the strategic direction of Estates and Campus Services creating a culture of exceptional service delivery focused on enhancing the student and staff experience.

Reporting to the Registrar and Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Estates and Campus Services will be responsible for the delivery of customer-centred estates and campus services to underpin the University’s strategic academic and operational priorities. You will take full responsibility for all aspects of campus services (including student accommodation, catering and conferencing) as well as operational estate management, and devising and delivering our ambitious capital development programme (over £220m).

We are seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of initiating, developing and implementing estates strategies and development programmes across large scale, diverse and technically complex property portfolios for industry-leading organisations.  Positive, driven and a natural collaborator, you will possess excellent communication skills and the intellectual confidence to succeed in a leading university. This role will suit professionals who are adept at providing leadership at the wider strategic level in conjunction with proven operational expertise in leading a culture of ‘best in class’ service delivery.
