We are in the second phase of a £1 billion redevelopment programme which is further transforming the estate.  In addition, we are planning a new sixth campus.

Reporting to the Head of Campus Operations you would deliver the full range of FM services to the King’s community, ensuring services support the learning and teaching experience. The role is responsible for monitoring and control resourcing, budgets and performance of the in-house Facilities Management Services; third party service providers (including cleaning and security contracts) in addition to the Managers on Duty service. You would drive the performance of the Campus Operations Team through actionable KPIs, defining quality and monitoring customer service in line with the ‘Fit For King’s’ values (the directorate’s customer service programme).

The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of leading operational facilities services across a comparable prestigious portfolio.  You will have extensive experience of the full range of hard and soft facilities services including the successful management of external contracts. It is imperative that the successful candidate possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven stakeholder engagement ability.  The role will suit individuals with a high level of credibility, team leadership skills and the capability to deliver cutting edge services.
