Founded in 1967 to serve the needs of global and local families, ACS International Schools educate over 3,700 students, aged 2 to 18, day and boarding, from more than 100 countries. Our schools – 3 Hillingdon, Cobham and Egham offer a world – renowned curriculum.  

Our Cobham Campus is a modern learning environment set in stunning woodlands. With a state-of-the-art purpose built Lower, Middle and High Schools with extensive sports facilities including an Olympic size swimming pool.

Our Hillingdon Campus is an historic site set in 11 acres boasting a stunning mansion house with modern extension.   The grounds also house an all-weather pitch and bespoke adventure play areas.

Our Egham Campus is set in beautifully landscaped grounds, surrounded by history yet embraces modern learning.


We are seeking to appoint a Head of Facilities. This is an exciting vacancy that will underpin the operational delivery of the estate and facilities across our campuses. You will lead the on-site delivery teams in the strategic direction and implementation of best practices. You will lead the preparation, prioritisation, co-ordination and delivery of assigned projects and programmes across all aspects of planned works, strategic maintenance and minor works, ensuring all our campus are best in class. You will be the point of contact between the central facilities department and the school’s leadership teams in order to champion providing a world class learning environment.

About you

The successful candidate will possess demonstrable experience of leading an estate across multi campus with a comparable diverse portfolio. You will be qualified in a relevant built environment discipline. You will be a strong communicator with extensive experience in leading a ‘best in class’ customer facing team of both directly employed and contracted staff. Adept change management and business transformation experience in a similar collaborative environment is essential. This post will suit professionals who enjoy taking full operational responsibility in addition to undertaking strategic thinking.
