Hard Service Supervisor – Site Based



£30,000 to £35,000

 The role will involve co-ordinating and supervise the Hard Services team which include the grounds teams to ensure service delivery to the client. The Hard Services Supervisor is tasked with ensuring that the work schedule and specification is met on a daily basis. The contractual KPI targets such as audits and hours delivery are met on a weekly & monthly basis. The Hard Services Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring that the areas within their responsibility are fully Health and Safety compliant.


  • Deploy team resources in the most effective way, prioritising in order to overcome day-to-day problems, achieve Contract Schedules and satisfy the customer requirements
  • Develop good business relationships with Clients & Managers
  • Ensure compliance on a monthly basis with the contractual KPI’s in relation to Audits, Hours and housekeeping standards
  • Undertake responsibilities as set out in the Health and Safety Policy Manual and the Health & Safety Booklet, ensuring that employees are made aware of and strictly adhere to all Health and Safety requirements, fire regulations, C.O.S.H.H. regulations and Company policies and procedures relating to these matters, ensuring that safe methods of work are operated and that the prescribed protective clothing for the respective job is issued to the Employee(s) concerned
  • Complete monthly Audits and ensure all areas are QSHE compliant
  • Maintain disciplinary standards in compliance with Company Policy. Manage disciplinary procedure at the first stage and resolve personnel complaints and problems within the area. At all time ensure compliance with grievance and avoidance of disputes procedures
  • Ensure that employees understand and comply with all of the Client’s Security rules and requirements
  • Supervision of Sub-contractors
  • Undertake other duties as determined by the Site Co-ordinator & Facilities Manager

 Ideally you will have one or more of the following:

  • Experience of managing a team
  • Skilled in a Building and Maintenance profession such as Carpenter or Plumber
  • An understanding of PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance
  • Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Strong team working skills
  • A flexible approach to work
