Our client is a national business based out of the West Midlands who are currently going through a significant period of growth and they are considered market leaders within their line of business.
The primary role of the Property and Facilities Manager will be to manage the provision of Soft FM services across multiple sites which will include but not be limited to security, cleaning, recycling and waste disposal. As well as overseeing the provision of soft FM services you will also need to ensure that the property portfolio meets all health and safety requirements in line with both company procedures and UK legislation.
If there is any project work going on within your region then you will be a key point of contact for all parties involved in the project process.
You may also be involved in the acquisition process of new sites including being involved in the construction phase of these sites.
You will also have to deal with ad hoc building and facility issues that arise from time to time.
Applicants to this Property Manager role will be required to demonstrate:
- Solid experience gained within a Soft FM role
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation - an IOSH qualification would be advantageous
- Contract and supplier management experience
- A 2:1 degree in a technical based degree such as Surveying, Project Management or Construction Management etc
Living in or around the Midlands region would be advantageous but is not essential.
