Emergency Planning and Events Compliance Manager
Our client, an international Property Management organisation are looking to recruit an Emergency Planning and Events Compliance Manager to sit alongside their Operational Compliance Team based in the Manchester office.
The individual appointed to this role will be instrumental to the strategic planning and tactical delivery of emergency planning and events management measures throughout the property management division, with a biased towards risk management to achieve a best in class standard to complement the existing risk management model.
The role will include working with the Operational Risk Management Team to review existing and develop new policies and procedures to mitigate operational risk associated with emergency planning and events. The successful candidate will work with relevant teams, such as in house security and POP Marketing, site management and suppliers to ensure the continuous review and improvement of the agreed policies and any specific plans, such as emergency planning and events risk assessments, surveys and audits, and ensuring that these are kept current and are fit for purpose.
The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, approachable individual with self drive and a clear understanding of emergency planning and events compliance. The individual must have a strong operational background, preferably having achieved experience from managing large complicated and active sites, be able to demonstrate that they have experience with implementing robust security and emergency planning arrangements and having planned and successfully managed small, medium and large scale events. The individual must also be able to demonstrate a strong Health & Safety Knowledge within a property environment and although not essential a suitable qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate would be desirable.
In return our client offers a salary of £35,000 plus car allowance and a discretionary performance related bonus.
