Your new role
As a Scheduler within facilities you will manage the overall activity of the national engineering teams and the jobs which have been passed to the team. You will be working on two critical contracts for the organisation within a large team environment. You will encompass the delivery of key tasks, with a focus of this role being the deliverance of excellent customer service through open, courteous and friendly communication. The Scheduler will, using the systems and processes, ensure that the correct engineering resource is deployed to achieve first time fixes for customers. This will range from using internal national engineers to subcontractors as appropriate, with the aim of ensuring that the job is attended within the specified SLAs. Once attendance has been met the Scheduler will also manage the completion of the job as well as ensuring that all parts and materials are accounted for and all required documentation is completed. This position will be contracted to work shifts with requirements to work into the evening and at weekends. Shifts will be: 07:00 - 15:00, 08:00 - 16:00, 09:00 - 17:00 and 11:00 - 19:00 on a rolling week rota. Please note the role requires BPSS clearance, this will be put into place when starting in the role.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have facilities management/scheduling of engineers experience either in a helpdesk or site perspective. You will be able to use all types of technology; phones, computers, scanners, faxes etc. You will be well organised and prepared to be flexible with your approach. You will demonstrate a high level of communication skills with the ability to provide detailed information and advice in a clear and positive manner.
