Technical Facilities Manager
This 5-star hotel and visitor attraction requires a technically biased Facilities/Operations Manager to look after day to day management of the site. This will include planned and reactive maintenance of buildings, plant, infrastructure and building systems. Reporting directly to the CEO you will work with the management team to provide a first class, VIP service to all visitors. On a daily basis you will be responsible for managing a small maintenance team and looking after the on-site contractors. Working with a H&S consultant you will also ensure compliance across the estate.
Currently under construction, this development will be a state-of-the-art site, with forward thinking IT systems and technologies, therefore a candidate with a solid understanding of IT systems would be an advantage.
The successful candidate must be based, or willing to relocate to the Somerset area. We are seeking a candidate with a 'can do' attitude and the willingness to go the extra mile. My client is ideally looking for a candidate with a proven background in facilities, operations, maintenance and engineering management. You will have excellent relationship management skills and preferably experience of working within a high public footfall environment.
