Team leader - Asbestos/Fire Risk and Legionella management
A busy housing depot of a local Council are requiring a Asbestos, fire and Legionella Team leader to work alongside their repairs and maintenance team.
The role will be a combination of site visits and office based. Liaising with the mechanical, electrical and building
surveyors/ repair officers when properties have been identified at risk of Asbestos /Legionella/ fire. This will involve further site investigation, report writing and follow up after works have been carried out, in accordance with legislative requirements.
You will have previous experience of working in a similar role within a local authority/housing association or other relevant organisation related to repair and maintenance compliance.
Candidates will have a good understanding of water systems and current best practice legislation., ideally a WRAS Water Regulations certificate, along with Asbestos P402, P405 and Fire Risk awareness level 2 or 3.
Excellent attention to detail, organisation and compliance management is needed.
You will be leading a team of 8 - 4 administrators and 4 repair officers, so a proven track record of management is needed.
This is an ongoing role on a contract basis
