Newcastle University is a thriving international community of more than 28,100 undergraduate and postgraduate students from over 140 countries worldwide studying across our campuses in Newcastle upon Tyne, Singapore and Malaysia and our centre in London.

Ranked in the top 150 of world universities, we focus our research and teaching on the profound challenges facing the world today with particular strengths in ageing, energy, cities, data science and culture and the creative arts. As a member of the Russell Group of research-intensive universities in the UK, we have a world-class reputation in the fields of medicine, science and engineering, social sciences and the humanities.

World class academic endeavour requires world class estate and facilities. We seek a leader who will ensure strategic oversight and direction to manage effectively this key asset. You will lead a team of around 500 staff to undertake the successful delivery of a full range of services including the capital development programme, improvement works, maintenance, facilities, security, sustainability and planning. We will be expecting you to champion customer service, continuous improvement and value for money.

Professionally qualified, you will possess extensive, relevant experience gained at a senior level in a complex property related role within a large organisation of similar scale and complexity. Highly committed and proactive, you will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in taking a lead role in service delivery and strategic planning.
