Our client, a leading consultancy have instructed us to assist with the recruitment of an intermediate level Health & Safety/CDM Consultant who is coming from a construction background to join their growing business.
Our client is a leading consultancy with a strong presence on projects throughout the UK.
You will be working on a portfolio of projects for a wide range of clients from varying sectors. You will take ownership of a number of projects which will involve you:
- Undertaking site audits
- Attending design team & project meetings
- Working closely with designers to ensure that design risks are minimised
- Developing design risk management schedules
- Preparing pre-construction info packs and other CDM related documents
Applicants will be expected to come from a construction background and be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations. It would be advantageous to have experience within the delivery of Principal Designer services.
From a qualification perspective you will ideally have IOSH & NEBOSH related qualifications and it would be advantageous to also have a professional membership which is related to the construction industry.
As this is a Birmingham based role which requires Midlands based travel you will also need to have a full UK driving license.
