We have the following vacancy within our Facilities Team which plays a key part in our students’ studying experience and environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, and have had experience of pro-actively managing facilities teams (both in house and outsourced contracts) preferably within an academic environment, have a recognised FM qualification or equivalent practical experience and be IOSH/NEBOSH qualified.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of Soft FM services including security, cleaning and venue services such as events management, with relevant experience in Health and Safety. A good understanding of Hard FM services is also essential, including PPM, reactive maintenance, statutory compliance and capital projects.
The successful applicant will have a good level of education and be computer literate. Have a proactive approach to problem solving and experience of providing excellent customer service. Whilst not essential, a basic knowledge of course delivery and course materials production would be desirable
