Would you like to play a central role in ensuring RHS Wisley’s future? Do you have extensive proven experience of Facilities Management in a dynamic customer focused environment?
The RHS is looking to recruit an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to provide customer focused facilities services for the flagship Garden at Wisley. This role will work closely with the Head of Site and the RHS Estates team and is central to the successful handover and operation of the new Welcome Building, due to open in March 2019; and subsequent delivery of the new Centre for Science and Horticulture in 2020.
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience of managing and delivering hard and soft FM services, as well as managing capital and revenue projects. They will also have sound team, financial and contract management experience; delivering on-site compliance, building maintenance, security and cleaning both via contractors and an in-house team.
The new Facilities Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of an annual PPM programme and reactive maintenance to ensure all site infrastructure is maintained to a high standard, in accordance with Legislation; and they will be adept at providing exceptional customer service for internal and external customers alike.
The successful candidate be proactive, able to work with limited supervision, multi task, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. They will have excellent organisation and planning skills along with the ability to deal tactfully and confidently with all levels of staff, VIPs and visitors.
