The University of London Property & FM Team is looking for a dynamic and progressive group of professionals to join its expanding team.
The significant recruitment across the department comes at an exciting time at the University of London, with plans for development across the Bloomsbury Campus, significant increases in the provision of residential accommodation and leading in environmental sustainability. There are a number of very exciting technical and architectural projects on the horizon which requires a dynamic and innovative Property & FM Team to support. We are recruiting for seven positions: Head of Sustainability, Health, Safety & Procurement, Senior Project Manager, Health & Safety Manager, Fire Safety Officer, Compliance Officer, Procurement Officer and Building Services Engineer

The Property & Facilities Management Department is responsible for a diverse and historic estate of over 140 buildings, centred in Bloomsbury but including properties across London and one in Paris. The University is implementing a 10-20 year master plan across the Bloomsbury estate and aiming to grow both the teaching and residential estates. In addition to this the University has aspirations to be the sector leader in sustainability and achieve zero carbon by 2036.
Estates Operations Team
The Estates Operations Team are the beating heart of the University of London’s Property & FM department, managing the estate and providing the technical expertise to deliver a fully functioning estate operation. The team manages the facilities management contracts and is involved in major projects, such as the renewal of the Bloomsbury Heat & Power Heat & Power Network.
The Building Services Engineer will support the Technical Services Manager and work with the P&FM Team, all internal & external heads of departments to deliver and manage the maintenance and engineering contracts across all building services.
To monitor and manage all hard service contract delivery, maintenance PPM and reactive to, heating and air conditioning, hot and cold water services, drainage and plumbing, power, security equipment and alarm systems, building fabric, lifts, and fire detection and protection, BMS and building services equipment controls provided to all University buildings on a day to day basis and to rectify service deficiencies in liaison with contractors/FM Service provider.
