Contract Manager - Cleaning - Glasgow
We have been instructed by a leading FM service provider to recruit a Contract Manager to be based at a large single site in Glasgow.
Our client is a leading FM service provider who are providing contracted cleaning services to a Glasgow based client.
The role of the Contract Manager will be to provide support to the Lead Contract Manager on site and to ensure that a high quality customer service is delivered at all times. This will include building and maintaining a relationship with your client and providing a tailor made service specific to their cleaning needs.
A large team of cleaners will report into you and you will manage the performance of their service delivery whilst ensuring that health and safety regulations are adhered to whilst on site. It will be essential to ensure that you have a motivated team of cleaners who are performing to the best of their ability. You will be actively involved in the recruitment of new staff as well as developing your current staff.
You will also have financial responsibility and will need to meet and deliver on specific financial targets related to the provision of services. As well as these targets you will also oversee labour budgets and payroll related matters.
To be considered for this position, our client is ideally seeking applications from individuals who have worked within the events industry. This would include managing cleaning contracts within conference or event centres or even sports stadiums.
The role is a single site in Glasgow so you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Glasgow and have the flexibility work evenings and weekends in order to be able to be on site whilst events are taking place.
A salary of up to £35,000 is on offer.
