Business Development Director
Reporting into the MD for the UK business you will focus on the sale of cleaning services across the UK to both private and public sector clients. The company has grown significantly in the last 3 years and has a large number of sales leads coming through, what they now need is a BDD to build relationships and bid on warm opportunities. You will have a target of £5m new business per annum, there is a sales admin team around you to help with the bid and marketing. The sales team is based in Luton and you would be expected to be there 1/2 days a week.
The successful candidate will need to have a thorough understanding of how to sell cleaning services into the UK market. This is a business development role where building relationships is crucial and therefore a strong track record of sales success and good interpersonal skills are essential. This is a growing company with ambitions to double the size of the cleaning business in the next 3 years. As mentioned they already have lots of great leads to follow up with in both the public and private sector. You will need to be self motivated and able to price the bid and estimate costs.
