Our client, A professional firm based in Halifax, are currently on the look out for a Facilities & Building Manager to support the day to day operations across their four sites in Halifax, Leeds, Manchester and Cambridge.
In the role you will have responsibility for managing both hard and soft Facilities Management and Health & Safety on a day to day basis as well as overseeing projects across the sites.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing both on a day to day basis, and larger scale projects refurbishment, renovation and office moves.
Create a suitable and safe working environment for employees at all offices.
Responsibility for cleaning, waste disposal and recycling.
Managing office services inc archiving, reprographics & destruction.
Record and track all building maintenance as well as External areas.
The procurement & management of contractors and specialist suppliers.
Developing H&S policies and procedures to ensure all buildings meet the necessary standards and legal requirements.
Produce and manage budgets.
Line management to the facilities maintenance team and cleaners.
The role will be based at Halifax but regular travel to Leeds, Manchester and Cambridge will be necessary.
We are looking for an experienced proactive Facilities Management professional with experienced of managing both hard and soft services as well as projects. The candidate will be IOSH or NEBOSH qualified and ideally have a HNC or BIFM qualification.
In return our client is offering a salary between £35,000 & £45,000 alongside benefits package
