Interim Head of Facilities
We are currently working alongside an educational institution in Central London who are looking for an Interim Head of Facilities. This institution has a diverse multi-site estates portfolio with a wide range of modern and historic buildings
Reporting to the Director of Estates, the Interim Head of Facilities will be responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of soft FM services including security, portering, catering, cleaning and landscaping. These services are delivered through both internal facilities staff and external contractors, therefore the post holder will need strong leadership and motivational skills, as well as the ability to manage soft FM contracts.
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of providing ‘best in class’ facilities management services across a comparable high-public footfall and customer facing portfolio. You will be an adept contract manager with strong commercial acumen, as well as having experience in the management of compliance and health & safety.
This role will suit professionals with a high level of personal credibility and demonstrable experience in embedding a culture of exceptional delivery, at both an operational and strategic level. The post holder will require strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels of a large public sector organisation.
This is an interim appointment that is expected to for approximately 4-5 months.
