One of the largest service providers in the UK are recruiting a proactive SHEQ Manager, based in Portsmouth.

Your new role
As SHEQ Manager (Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality), you will report to the Senior SHEQ Manager and Regional Director. This is a permanent role based at a successful hospital in the Portsmouth area, who are part of a trust that employ more than 7,000 staff with a turnover of almost £550m.
You will proactively assist and support the operational management teams on the assigned contract(s) to ensure that they operate to the highest standards of safety, health, environmental and quality through being accountable for the delivery of the SHEQ strategy and engagement to ensure continuous improvement, world class performance and the development of appropriate SHEQ culture.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri 9.00-17.00). A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
What you'll need to succeed
You must hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (NCRQ/Grad IOSH etc) and a NEBOSH Construction Certificate or SMSTS and an IEMA qualification. Experience of managing asbestos and carrying out training will be an advantage too.
You must have experience in a similar SHEQ role, ideally within an FM business and/or the healthcare sector. Experience in both the pre-construction (design) and construction phases of projects will be useful too.
