We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Commercial Manager to work for a prestigious facilities management company based in London.

As a Senior Commercial Manager you will be responsible for the development of the entire Facilities Management  service across the client’s portfolio and drive positive change and evolution of all service lines to support business objectives.

You will be responsible  for the performance of the agreement and ownership of the agreed service levels and resolve issues delivering an exceptional service that exceeds expectations.

You will provide commercial and financial leadership and support and develop and maintain both a strong commercial governance structure and to drive exceptional performance within the agreed commercial model.

Duties include:

  • To lead the team in all aspects of commercial and operational performance and delivery
  • To ensure the service delivery meets the client’s expectation levels through documented SLAs/KPIs and associated reporting processes
  • To drive savings, efficiencies and ensure continuous improvement within the service delivery model
  • To promote quality client communications and provide proactive feedback to client in areas of cost control, work scope, innovative improvements and additional services
  • To create, maintain and enforce policies and procedures to manage commercial risk
  • To develop and implement a commercial finance strategy for the contract
  • To identify and address any potential risks in future service improvements
  • To provide the client with monthly commercial reporting and insight
  • To support continuous improvement through commercial initiatives
  • To analyse performance results and highlight any risks and opportunities
  • To improve commercial performance
  • To manage the budget planning process
  • To manage the reconciliation process
  • To act as the commercial contractual expert for the agreement and support agreement negotiations

Qualifications:

  • Degree level qualified or equivalent in addition to relevant professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experience

Experiences, Skills and Attributes:

 

    • Record of success in delivering high level/high value business growth
    • Experience in dealing with hard services
    • Contract Management knowledge
    • Strong relationship management skills
    • 5 years’ senior level management experience over a large operating region
    • Strong market knowledge and the ability to develop strategic workspace and real estate related financial solutions
    • Strong Facilities services background and ability to operate and interact with key stakeholders
    • Ability to demonstrate experience of formulating, managing and achieving budgets
    • Passionate about creativity and enjoy developing news ways to present ideas
    • Desire to learn and enjoys taking on challenges
    • Professional, committed, conscientious, pro-active and innovative.
    • Positive attitude to change and ability to be flexible to the changing priorities of the role.
    • Numerate, accurate and confident and have the ability to work on own initiative.
    • Ability to prioritise workloads appropriately.
    • A clear understanding of the need for confidentiality.
    • High level of computer literacy including Excel; Powerpoint; Word; Financial Systems
