Our client, in the legal sector, is recruiting a Building Supervisor/ Maintenance Officer for their Mayfair offices.

The role is to ensure a well maintained, safe and secure environment for employees and visitors. You will make daily building checks, undertake repairs to M&E, heating, cooling and plumbing systems and employ contractors where necessary. You will oversee the main maintenance contractors ensuring SLA are adhered to and KPI’s met. You will tender works and ensure the upmost quality is delivered. You will also oversee the security personnel, administer and allocate security passes and cover guards’ breaktimes where necessary. As a member of the FM team you will pitch in when and where needed.

The ideal candidate will have gained experience of providing outstanding customer service and building relationships amongst staff and managers. You will also be used to handling confidential information and your experience will have ideally been gained within a professional services environment (legal, financial etc). You will be a conscientious individual with a mature attitude, high standard of professionalism and outstanding communication skills. You should be self-confident to enable you to address issues directly, as and when they arise.

An IOSH qualification is essential to enable you to fulfil the Health & Safety aspect of the role. We cannot consider candidates who don’t have this qualification as a minimum. An additional qualification relating to building maintenance would be advantageous however, non-essential. You must be at least intermediate level on all Microsoft Office packages.

The salary range is from £48k to £53k per annum. The role requires you to be available for overtime, both planned and unplanned, during evenings and weekends, and to be available to will cover emergency callouts. All approved overtime is payable as per our overtime policy.
