Centre Manager - 6 Month FTC

One of the UK's largest private owners of commercial property in the UK are looking to recruit a dynamic FM/Centre Manager for a Shopping Centre in Hampshire. The scheme is a busy and thriving part of the town centre and benefits from a strong mix of national retailers as well as quality independents, a Multi Storey Car Park and office building. Based on site, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the scheme. The role will require a self-motivated person, with considerable retail and operational experience. You will have knowledge of retailing, including marketing, promotion and merchandising. The successful candidate will create a trusted relationship with retail store managers and business Centre tenants to understand their retail/business requirements, and foster a 'partnership' to encourage the promotion of their businesses. The role will require a proven and comprehensive track record / responsibility for all operational matters, including budgeting, health and safety, planned maintenance, reports and facilities oversight. The successful candidate will report to and have regular liaison with the asset managers responsible for the portfolio. The candidate will ideally have strong retail, Shopping Centre or department store management experience. Professional and health and safety qualifications are not essential, but would be useful.
