Our client, a leading Facilities Management service provider require an Asset & Lifecyle Manager to be based at their client site in Somerset to manage M&E assets across the site.
Client Details
Our client is a leading Facilities Management service provider who are providing FM services to an engineering business in Somerset.
Description
You will be responsible for the management and continuous improvement of the asset management system relating to M&E assets across the site.
You will work closely with a Hard Services Manager and will asses the strategy of maintenance of both critical and non critical assets across the site. This may result in you giving advice on how this strategy could or should be changed in order to run a more effective asset management programme. You will of course then need to implement any recommended changes.
Accountability will play a major part of this role as it will be your responsibility to collate and report on large amounts of date relating to the reliability and performance of assets. This data will need to be recorded appropriately using a CAFM system and in turn you will use this data to produce MI reports for your client.
Profile
To be considered for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate sufficient working knowledge of asset and life cycle management and to have ideally gained this experience from within an industrial or engineering environment.
It would be advantageous to be familiar with CAFM systems and in particular Maximo.
The role is based at a client site in Somerset and you will be based there full time so you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance.
Applications are welcomed from candidates who are currently in a similar role or who are working within a hard services role.
