Asset Strategy Lead

Working at St Andrew’s Healthcare
We're the largest independent provider of services to the NHS, a unique mental health charity aspiring to deliver truly world-class care. Our focus is transforming lives through ground breaking treatment and rehabilitation, with surpluses re-invested in our outstanding facilities. You’ll find a welcoming, inclusive culture here, inspired by the shared values of our team. Everyone has their part to play in the amazing work we do.

Your role with us
Reporting to the Director of Estates & Facilities, you will be accountable and responsible for the design and delivery of an estates wide Asset Strategy, which includes identifying estates optimisation and sustainable revenue opportunities associated with our existing hospital estate - and critically the development and delivery of growth associated with our emerging Community offer.
As part of the Estates & Facilities Senior Leadership Team, you will work collaboratively in leading and managing external framework consultants, agents and suppliers whilst developing & managing key relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.  Experience of working with Commissioners and Public Health Bodies would be an advantage.
You will be a trusted advisor to the Charity, making informed strategic decisions with respect to Estates use, optimisation and growth via commercially sound analysis and supporting business case proposals which should also include post investment review.

About you:
With strong focus on balancing delivery against emerging strategy, you will be a well-networked, commercially aware & influential individual with a proven track record in an aligned Asset Strategy role, having managed estates of a similar size and scale ideally within the Private Care & Complex Needs sector.  An understanding of key modernisation issues for healthcare estates is desirable.
Preferably a Chartered Surveyor or relatable profession, you should be highly resilient, an exemplary starter/finisher and able to report and communicate effectively to Exec level.
You will have a collaborative and empowering leadership style and demonstrate high levels of trust, integrity and adherence to governance.

In return
We offer an excellent benefits package including 38 days holiday,  sickness policy on par with NHS, car lease scheme, free parking, cycle to work scheme, retailer discounts scheme, childcare vouchers & access to vocational qualifications.
