Your role with us

As part of the Estates & Facilities Senior Leadership team, you will support the Director of Estates Facilities in the delivery of key capital projects across our estate.  Project Delivery covers both core and non-core estate assets focussing on upgrade, repair maintenance renewal aligned to our 3 year strategy to meet statutory and patient environment objectives.

This role includes leading a team of 4 Project Delivery staff in the delivery of projects to agreed time, cost, quality and profit targets across the St Andrew’s portfolio, which includes three further hospital sites and locations within our community setting.  Project values range from £100k to £8m.

Collaborative working with other members of the Estates & Facilities leadership team is key to develop an operational estate strategy which will ensure a functionally suitable capital programme of works. Gaining the confidence of internal stakeholders and customers and delivering your promises are essential qualities that are needed to deliver in this role.

Your profile

A  strong pro-active leader, able to problem solve and balance operational and strategic priorities, you will demonstrate effective customer and stakeholder management to exec level.

In addition you will have:

• A proven track record in an aligned project delivery role, with demonstrative experience of strategic planning and management of large scale projects in a complex & challenging environment.

• Previous experience of working within a private mental health organisation and/or assisted living with an understanding of key modernisation issues within a healthcare estate.

• Up to date with estates management compliance & regulatory requirements, (in particular HTM, HBN, CQC, Mental Health Act and HSE requirements)

• Degree educated or have membership of a professional institution – RICS, CIOB
