The Trust runs an extensive programme of capital projects to improve patient and staff care through their environment, ranging from minor works to large-scale site redevelopment. The Head of Capital Projects is responsible for the delivery of the Trust’s estate strategy ‘Fit for the Future’, currently set at £42 million over the next five years.

We are seeking a dynamic and determined applicant with a track record of delivering results.   You will be responsible for the planning, direction and management of the Trust’s strategic capital programmes and management of agreed major elements of the IM&T, MEC and Estates capital programmes. Educated to degree level, you will have experience of major capital schemes in a healthcare environment with a strong technical background in building services or M&E engineering.

You will manage the Capital Projects Team, the Trust’s Arts Programme Team and the selection and appointment of external design engineers, architects and construction contractors to ensure project delivery and governance.
