Leigh Day’s London office is currently seeking to appoint a Facilities Co-ordinator to join the Business Services Department. This purpose of this role will be to provide support to the Head of Facilities to deliver firm wide initiatives and support day-to-day Health and Safety requirements to ensure that the Facilities Team delivers an efficient level of service to the firm.

Main tasks and responsibilities;
•  To support the Head of Facilities to deliver firm wide projects; e.g. implementing a paperless office and office moves.
•  Researching and evaluating potential product and service providers.
•  Liaising with all relevant stakeholders for any planned preventative and/or reactive maintenance as and when required, including providing assistance with all aspects of health and safety at all sites.
•  General administration, including maintaining electronic and paper files and providing cover for other Facilities roles as and when needed.

To be successful you must have;
• A well-rounded experience and interest in all aspects of Facilities Management, including Health and Safety is essential.
• Experience operating in a busy legal practice or other professional services environment is preferable.
• Demonstrable interest in Health and Safety (ideally IOSH qualified).
• A proven ability to work independently or as part of a team, and being pro-active, reliable, friendly, energetic and presentable.
• Demonstrable relevant computer/IT experience.
• A proven ability to work under pressure and to manage assigned tasks in an assertive, efficient and timely manner.

This is an 18 months fixed term contract, based in London.
