Senior Technical Facilities Specialist
Our FM Service Provider client have established an in house team made up of experts within Hard FM/Technical Services who can provide advice internally on a range of contracts across multiple sectors.

The role of the Senior Technical Facilities Specialist will be to provide expert advice to fellow colleagues across a range of contracts in multiple sectors.
Advice will range from technical support on hard services right through to industry best practice advice and advising on statutory and contractual compliance obligations.
The role is essentially an internal consultant position who can act independently of the contract in order to offer support and guidance where needed. You will need to adapt to various requests as you could be advising on anything ranging from using a new CAFM system or advising on the mobilisation stage of a contract or you could be providing auditing advice on a contract that needs to be improved on from a compliance perspective.
As this role is so varied, applicants will need to be able to demonstrate broad technical knowledge of hard FM Services and be able to demonstrate that this knowledge has been gained from working within multiple sectors.
You will need a sound technical understanding from both an operations perspective but also from a compliance perspective too.
The role will cover national contracts so whilst our client is happy for you to be based anywhere in the country and for you to do some home working, you must be prepared to travel nationally as and when required to by the job.
From a qualifications perspective it is expected that you will be degree qualified within a relevant building services or engineering discipline.
