M&E Design Manager

M&E Design Manager Circa £55K plus car allowance

Your new company
This is an established contractor looking to add to their Yorkshire team.

Your new role
You will assist the Design Coordinators and operational / commercial team with managing the design, delivery, coordination and design approvals for M&E Installations from pre-planning through to completion of works on site. You will manage engineers on site and occasionally sub-contractors. Health and safety forms a key part of the role, ensuring everyone works in a safely managed environment. You will be using BIM and assist the design team to spot any non-compliance areas which may occur.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of Building Service design from concept to completion, particularly experience of education, health care and commercial properties. You will also have working knowledge of CDM regulations, CIBSE guides and building regulations. You will have a relevant industry qualification and CSCS card as site visits will be regular.
