Building Services Engineer (Mechanical)
Your your new company
Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has gone through some recent changes as they push and drive towards their goals of becoming the best performing M&E team. The M&E manager is very interested in those engineers that have a productive mentality towards work and that strive to complete tasks with their full technical capability.
Your new role
In this role you will focus on commercial mechanical engineering. Your day to day would cover some minor design tasks along with producing specifications. A key area of focus will be project management and contract management of the commercial mechanical services, you will handle projects from inception to completion ensuring all deadlines are met along with monitoring the contractors by completing weekly KPI reports and pre/post inspections. You will be responsible for the signing off on contractors works, there for all work completed, need meet building regulations and standards.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a proven track record of mechanical engineering and project/contract management covering similar work, this can be from either client side or a customer facing role. A qualification of a HNC or HND in the relative field is required.
