My client is an M&E Engineering Consultancy who specialise in Asset Management for the built environment. They operate across the Engineering and Facilities sector from pre-purchase to maintenance and refurbishment. They have more than forty years of experience in the engineering services industry which has given them a thorough understanding of the requirements of building owners and operators.

They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Technical Manager to join their business in London. The role will report into the Technical Director and be responsible for delivery of services across the London Region.

Key Duties:
* Prepare and manage engineering projects to include: specification, design, life cycle
* cost, equipment selection, planned maintenance programmes, dilapidations, acquisition and the preparation of & review of tender documentation.
* Conduct surveys to gather field data e.g. asset collection.
* Prepare and interpret engineering reports, drawings, layouts and other (visual)
* aids.
* Perform Building Services Engineering duties surrounding the following; electrical
* systems, mechanical systems, and public health systems.
* Manage project issues, budgets, invoicing and schedules.
* Have good working knowledge of "European Economic Area" Building Services
* Engineering standards, policies, and legislation.
* Review development plans for compliance with adopted engineering standards and
* good engineering practices.

Requirements:
* Qualification to be at least (NVQ3) in building services engineering e.g. Mechanical Engineering and three years experience
* Knowledge of applicable laws and building codes, safety legislation and approved
* code of practice e.g. L8.
* Must have good communication, literacy and interpersonal skills.
* Must be able to manage own time and work load.
* Must be completely conversant and competent with Microsoft Office Software Products
