£50k + car/allowance + package

Midlands Base – national travel required

We are looking for a Technical Manager to work for a leading Facilities Management Service Provider, dedicated to a large National TFM contract.

The Technical Manager will be the point of contact for the client and the Operations teams and will work closely with the Engineering team to ensure the smooth delivery of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services maintenance across a portfolio of 100 corporate/office buildings.   

You will be the technical expert for this large TFM account and will be responsible for planned & reactive maintenance, compliance and minor works. In addition, the successful candidate will need to build a very close working relationship with the client and provide regular reports and updates on the national estate.

We are looking for a dynamic individual able to produce regular reports and data but also able to come up with and implement new ideas/suggestions. This role reports into the National Operations Manager.

Mechanical and/or Electrical qualifications are essential to be considered for this role and you will be fully comfortable with providing advice and guidance on all Building Services related issues. AP/AE status is desirable.

Although required to travel nationally a Midlands based is preferable for this position so that you have good access to the client’s key offices.
