Our client, an international blue-chip organisation, is recruiting a facilities manager on 6 to 9-month FTC for their offices in/ near Fareham, Hampshire.
Manage the day-to-day responsibilities associated with the Company’s premises, external facilities management company and support functions, ensuring that a high level of service is provided and maintained for staff and visitors alike on a cost-effective basis.
We are looking for a seasoned FM with experience of managing hard and soft FM services at multiple sites. Our client owns their two office buildings, so they need someone with owner/ occupier or full repairing lease experience. With approximately 300 staff in the offices, you will be the in-house representative for all matters FM. You will oversee the day to day operations of the TFM contractor, ensuring that service provision is delivered at or above specification.
You will also be responsible for H&S and building compliance. A recognised H&S qualification is essential. We are looking for someone who also has experience of the FM contract tender process as, unsure they are receiving value for money, they intend undertaking a service review in the near future.
This is a new position and there may well be a permanent opportunity on completion of the FTC.
This is a fixed term contract of 6 to 9 months paying £40k to £50k pro rata. We will consider employment on a part-time basis. Benefits include 25 days holiday pro rata, life assurance, 4% pension contribution and flexible benefits package.
