Our client is an established FM Service Provider that has a strong presence in the Central Government and Public Sectors. It currently has a new PFI Hard Services contract going live in Edinburgh within the Healthcare sector. As a result, the General Manager is looking to hire a proven Operations Manager.
The Operations Manager reports into the GM and will be responsible for a team of 18 people, made up of engineers, supervisors and support staff / helpdesk. The successful Operations Manager must have a proven track record in a similar role and boast strong people management and leadership skills.
It will certainly help if the Operations Manager has operated within PFI contracts previously and understands the importance of ensuring KPIs and SLAs are always being met. In addition, the Operations Manager must have excellent attention to detail, communications skills and client relationship skills. A solid engineering background is also preferable.
