My client is a leading organisation in the Facilities Management sector. They specialise in providing service provisions across several sectors including Government, Healthcare, Automotive, Leisure and Retail. They are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Maintenance Manager to join a key site in Liverpool Street.

The role will report into the Site Manager and be responsible for engineering support and maintenance of the building infrastructure. You will have a detailed understanding of all new or current Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the building and complying with the Health & Safety/building codes of practice. It is the ASM's role to act as a co-ordination point for the day-to-day activities on site between the day/shift team, specialist service partners and on-going project works.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and experience of leading a site-based engineering team. You will preferably be an apprenticed trained engineer who has recognised technical qualifications in Electrical Engineering with a HVAP qualification. You will need to have strong verbal communication skills, written skills, have a calm manner and be able to work under pressure.
