Maintenance Surveyor/ Technical Officer

Your new company
Busy local Authority have a temporary need for a building maintenance professional. This could be a direct 12 month Fixed term contract on a salary or on a hourly paid temporary contract via Agency


Your new role
Planned , preventative and reactive maintenance -Undertaking building inspections, identifying works, scheduling repairs and maintenance of council owned properties ( excluding housing) and day to day managing of contractors ensuring they are working safely. Assist in delivery of capital works programme. Complete Stock condition surveys and post works snagging.
You will have a solution led practical approach to managing repairs and maintenance and be able to draft specifications and repairs orders.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in similar role either in the private or public sector. A good mix of building knowledge is needed as they have a varied property portfolio.You will be able to work under your own initiative and have fantastic communication skills in dealing with customers.
