Maintenance Supervisor

We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to work for a leading independent school located in Surrey, the post holder will be responsible for managing M&E, building fabric and grounds maintenance across a diverse and high-footfall estates portfolio.

The Maintenance Supervisor will help deliver planned and reactive maintenance, refurbishments and minor repair projects through the supervision of an internal maintenance team, as well as managing the performance of specialist external contractors, closely monitoring SLA’s and KPI’s.  The post holder will have good technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as experience in delivering the maintenance of building fabric and infrastructure. This person will also hold responsibility for ensuring all statutory compliance is adhered to, including fire safety, asbestos and legionella.

The successful candidate will have a strong maintenance background and hold recognised qualifications in either mechanical or electrical engineering, as well as holding a qualification in the management of health and safety. Experience in contract management, stakeholder engagement and delivering statutory compliance within a built environment are also essential.
