An exciting opportunity has arisen within Transport and Facilities Management; we are looking to recruit a Facilities Manager with a proven track record to join the Compliance Team to deliver premises related functions to support Sheffield City Council in ensuring it fulfils its statutory duties.
The successful applicant must hold the NEBOSH certificate in fire safety management or equivalent and have a least 2 years’ experience in carrying out fire risk assessments.
You will provide specialist fire safety advice and assist in all aspects of fire safety management for the various property types.
The post holder will have detailed knowledge of the Regulatory reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and have the ability to advise clients on compliance in accordance with the legislation.
You will need to be enthusiastic, well organised, be an effective communicator with experience in Facilities Management, delivering statutory risk assessments and able to monitor performance.
The successful candidate will have experience in the use of data management systems to support service delivery and have excellent customer liaison skills to deliver on the wide ranging objectives required in the post.
