Technical Services Consultant or Manager 

Providing design, maintenance, asset management and project management services to a diverse property portfolio. 

Our client is one of the UK's leading Property Management Companies with a nationwide portfolio of prestigious assets. They are seeking to expand and strengthen their inhouse consultancy service division by recruiting Chartered Building Services Professionals (open to all levels) who can continue the growth of this division and the offering of first class consultancy services including lifecycle management and planning, HVAC design and contract management, HVAC troubleshooting, etc.

The inhouse consultancy service offering is expanding rapdily at the moment with a significant demand from the existing client base. So now is a fantastic time to join an expanding business, meeting fresh challenges on a daily basis with a varied and high profile client base.

The Person:

We are seeking true Building Services professionals with technical knowledge, first class customer service skills and the drive and ambition to deliver first class results. 
We are seeking a high standard of education and relevant membership of an industry body - CIBSE Affiliation would be ideal. 
You will have a sound grasp of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services, from design capabilities to operational knowledge. From Commercial Heating Systems to Building Management Systems, Air Conditioning and Ventillation to Security and Fire Detection, you will have the talent and experience to offer first rate consultancy services across a multitude of property related issues and opportunities. 

Core Functions:

  • Complete engineering site surveys & audit reports.
  • Complete life cycle reports to an agreed format.
  • Manage internal and external relationships including Client, local authorities, service providers and statutory bodies.
  • Provide technical support & advice to the FM team nationally.
  • Review new industry regulations and CIBSE/HVCA guidelines and contract utilities
  • Review and manage engineering business risk.
  • Deliver and market M&E offering.

 
You will be comfortable working alongside tenants, facilities managers, contractors and stakeholders at the highest levels. You will possess first rate communications skills and by self-managed and motivated.
