They predominantly deliver M&E maintenance (hard services) and are renowned for delivering a premium service. They operate very much as a meritocracy; those who prove themselves and excel will very quickly rise through the ranks.

The Role

I am seeking a technical facilities Account Manager to join a world-leading service provider on a key health care site in Central London; looking after a contract to deliver engineering maintenance to a large hospital. This is a client facing role where you will be expected to manage expectations and remedy concerns. You will have responsibility for a £2m P&L budget and will be tasked with running the account at an increased profit.

Duties will include:

  • Reporting KPI's and SLA performance to the client and acting as the point of escalation for any issues.
  • Line managing a 30 strong team of managers, supervisors and engineers to ensure the contract is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintaining and improving the performance of a £2m P&L budget; finding revenue streams such as extra-works.
  • Reporting regularly to the Accounts Director; addressing contract performance as well as compliance.

    • The Person

    The right candidate will have:

  • Account Management experience within a building services environment.
  • P&L experience.
  • An engineering background within building services.
  • Experience in a health care environment is preferable.
