Quantity Surveyor - Facilities Management - Maintenance - MTC - Birmingham - Permanent - Competitive Salary


Your new company
You will be working for a large Total FM provider as a quantity surveyor (measured time contract) in the Birmingham area. You will be responsible for managing the cost elements of reactive maintenance and minor works projects.


Your new role
As a quantity surveyor you will be managing minor works measures completed by site based operations teams and ensuring all job write ups and day works are accurately completed. You will also be ensuring all material is measured at key milestones of projects. You will have overall management of the preparation and submission of final accounts and contractual documents. You will also manage sales queries from clients and evaluate sub contractor applications and payment certificates. You will support the estimating and bids teams to tender for new projects and ensure the retention of existing projects.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience working as a quantity surveyor on MTC contracts and hold a relevant qualification. You will also have experience working with National Schedule of Rates and knowledge of NEC3, JCT and GC work contracts.
