General Manager

This exciting role is based at a 550k sq ft, multi-tenanted commercial, A-grade building in Canary Wharf. You will be responsible for delivering all FM operations, managing the multi million-pound service charge budget, whilst working with the client and contractors to ensure best practice. The building has recently undergone a major upgrade and expansion project and will require a candidate with strong tenant fit out and snagging experience. A proven background in team leadership and strong relationship building skills are also important. You will be responsible for base building alterations and therefore a solid technical understanding is needed.

The successful candidate will have previous large, single site, commercial facilities management experience, ideally having worked for the landlord before. You must have a strong service charge budget background and an excellent technical understanding of base building. A proven background of building relationships at all levels with a confident character is essential.

This is a fully tenanted, extensive building, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to really take ownership and introduce improvements wherever possible.
